Monorail Driver Unable to Multitask Due to One-Track Mind

Walt Disney World Cast Member, Ethan Thomas, was recently fired from his position as a Monorail driver due to his inability to multitask. “I thought that I would be perfect for the job,” Thompson said, “But I couldn’t drive and honk the horn at the same time due to my one-track mind.”

Ethan recently began driving the Walt Disney World Monorail after several years working at the Tomorrowland Speedway. “I loved driving those little cars,” Ethan said. “You could just go round and round, round and round again and never get lost.”

Earlier in his career, Ethan was a conductor on the Walt Disney World Railroad. The young Cast Member was an expert at driving the narrow-gauge engines along the 1.5 mile loop around the Magic Kingdom. “He was incredibly dedicated to his work,” said WDW Railroad supervisor Richard Johnson. “I’ve never met anyone who was so focused on that track.”

With his Walt Disney World career unfortunately coming to an end, Ethan is faced with the difficult task of deciding what comes next. “I might try to find a girlfriend now that my summer is free,” Ethan said with a thoughtful look on his face. “But I’m not so sure. I’ve heard that girls can be a distraction.”
